Generally available cameras are not efficient in capturing the magnificent beauties in the sky. For Astrophotography, specially designed astronomy cameras are used. They are divided into two types, Charged Coupled Device (CCD) and Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS). Taqwa Space Observatory has a wide range of CCD and CMOS cameras.

ZWO ASI 6200 MM PRO
ASI 6200 MM Pro is a monochrome CMOS camera with a full frame sensor. 62MP sensor with a pixel size of 3.76um let us capture amazing details in a wide field of view. It has zero amp glow. It has a powerful cooling setup that reduces the temperature up to 35 degrees Celsius. At a QE of 91%, it loses very less data as compared to other cameras.

SBIG STF-8300M
The SBIG STF-8300M is a monochrome CCD camera by Diffraction Limited. Based on Kodak's KAF-8300, 8.3 Mega-pixel, full frame CCD with 3326 x 2504 pixels at 5.4 microns, the SBIG STF-8300M mono version is ideal for short fast optics in high resolution. The camera uses SBIG's traditional even illumination (photometric) shutter design.

FLI ML-29050
The FLI ML-29050 is a CCD camera with a sensor size of 36.1 X 24.1 mm and pixel size of 5.5 μm. It can be typically maximum cooled down to 45°C below ambient. The QE is more than 40% which is higher than its predecessor. Its download speed is fast yet maintain the 16-bit
resolution to produce high quality images.

ZWO ASI 294MC Pro
The ASI 294MC Pro by ZWO is a cooled CMOS colour camera. It comes with Sony IMX294 color sensor, perfectly suited for RGB-imaging of deep-sky-objects. It is approximately 11.7 mega pixels with 4.63μm pixels size. It contains a 2-stage TEC cooling system that enables deep cooling (40°C-45°C below ambient Temperature).

ASI 462 MM Pro is a monochrome CMOS planetary camera with a full frame sensor. It has Sony IMX462 back-illuminated sensor, this camera has a resolution of 1936x1096 with 2.9 μm pixel size. The STARVIS Technology brings better imaging performance to the camera in low light It has an excellent sensitivity for near Infrared band. It is one of the best choices for planetary, lunar and solar imaging.

ZWO ASI 174 MM
ASI 174 MM is a monochrome CMOS planetary camera. It is
based on the Sony Exmor IMX174 2.35MP sensor with Pregius global shutter technology. The peak value of QE Curve is about 77%. It has a resolution of 2.3 MP, pixel array is 1936 x 1216 and pixel size is 5.86µm x 5.86µm. It is good for high speed imaging with a max of 164.5 fps

ZWO ASI 224 MC
ASI 224 MC is a colour CMOS planetary camera. It has 1.2 MP sensor IMX224 with SONY Exmor and NIR Technology. It has a hardware modification to reduce the amp-glow of the sensor. This advanced camera has a resolution of 1304x976 with 3.75 μm pixel size. It can capture 150 fps at max. Mainly for Planetary but it can also be used for DSO imaging.

ZWO ASI 120 mm mini
ASI 120 mm mini is a monochrome guide camera used to track stars in sky for the better tracking of mount and avoiding star trails in the final result. It integrates the AR0130CS 1/3″ sensor. This camera has 1280 x 960 pixels with a pixel size of 3.75 μm x 3.75 μm. . With a weight of only 60 grams, the camera does not burden the focuser any more than a 1.25" eyepiece.

Lodestar X2 Autoguider
X2 by lodestar is another guide camera in our bank. It utilizes a very sensitive Sony ‘ExView’ CCD (the ICX829) with an array of 752 x 582 pixels. This new 'Exview 2' chip approximately doubles the Lodestar sensitivity and adds nearly a full star magnitude to the minimum guide star brightness. it has a very low dark signal and very little readout noise, so it can be used to guide on faint stars
